In 2000, I set out to create a shopping experience that appeals to the childlike sense of wonder and playful spirit that exists in everyone. For me, it isn’t about just selling cute stuff – Sugarplum Dreams is more than that. It’s about offering a memorable experience and building a relationship you’ll never outgrow. We are trusted partners and a valued resource for parents, whether it’s choosing that first little layette, selecting the perfect first day of school outfit, locating a coveted toy or chatting about the latest in nursery design. (Or, perhaps you’d rather chat about the finer points of potty training your toddler and the well-intentioned advice of your mother-in-law – that’s fine too!) I guarantee we’ll always have time to listen, because old-fashioned customer service is what we do best.

You see, we’re not your typical children’s boutique. Sugarplum Dreams is a one-stop shop that reflects the needs of moms today. I want you to find what you need and enjoy the hunt. You’ll see how blessed I am to have the friendliest, most wonderful team on earth, whom I call The Sugarplum Dream Girls. They are always willing to lend a hand, hold your baby, and go the extra mile.

Bring the kids along! With four children of my own, I made sure that children aren’t left out of the Sugarplum Dreams experience – we’re always ready to greet our tiny customers with a balloon, some Texas shortbread cookies and a hands-on opportunity to check out the latest and greatest new toys and games. But I can’t promise they’ll have the fun stuff all to themselves – I’ve been known to join in on the action when it comes to testing our merchandise. As a result, I have a well-nourished inner child and I don’t sell anything that I myself would not buy for my family. Safety and practicality are always of utmost importance to me and I make sure that all of our products have passed rigorous guidelines before we bring them in our store for our valued customers.
